im interested in slp LM1 for my 04 gt......does this exhaust sound raspy at all? does it have a pulsating idle? what are the pro's and con's about slp LM1 and its matching X-pipe with cats?

 

it's not raspy at all if you get a catted midpipe with it. it'll be extremely loud and be pretty deep. nothing like LM2 or flowmaster deep, but still deep. it sounds really good on acer's car. he has a pro chamber and LM1s. no rasp, no crackle, just perfect.

 

what about lm2's? is that about as deep as flowmasters? because i'm thinking of changing out my mufflers for something different.

 

LM2s are very deep. much deeper than LM1s and i'd say pretty much on par with flowmasters. they don't drone out like flows and they're louder than flows too.

 

well that's what i wanted to know because i do like how deep flows sound but a lot of trucks down here run flows and it all sounds the same so i was looking for something as deep but different.
