Default 2000 gt problem

I recently run over a curb and about 2 weeks later my front right tire was cut down it had a hole on the top middle inside and i put another tire on and in a few days the same thing happened. I took the car to the frame shop and according to them the frame is not warped and i really need to fix this problem! Im thinking about replacing the rack and pinion, ball joints, tie rod ends, and front lower control arms i hope this will fix the problem but if anyone has any info or advice that would help it would be greatly appreciated thanks.

that sounds weird. Could you describe the "hole" in your tire in a little bit more detail please?

I can see the impact with the curb damaging all of the suspension components you mentioned but you would certainly notice alignment problems or vibrations. I can't really see it cutting down your tire in the middle (assuming you meant the middle of the tread).

Oh yeah. I am going to move this into the 4.6 section so you can get some better answers.

Can you get a picture of the hole? I've run over curbs before (pretty hard too) and not actually done damage...

i dont have the old tires that this happened to but i can explain a little more about it the holes on the inside of the tire like next to the brakes it's in the top middle of the tire i think its rubbing something when like i go around curves and turn the wheels in the only thing i see that it could be catching on os that metal lip of the frame on the inside. The first side it happed to was the rh side in about 3 days and about a week later it done it to the driver side. Ive had my car parked about six months now because i have been slowly been putting in a new motor and it's been a fun install doing it myself but im doing some upgrading while im in the process im installing bbk full length headers, short o/r x pipe and slp loudmouth 1's and some other stuff but this is a problem i really need to take care of any help is appreciated and thanks for your posts

Sounds like you need a mechanic bro. Sounds like a serious problem. Could cost you more experimenting to try and fix it, rather than just taking it somewhere and letting them fix it. Maybe I'm wrong and some1 can help u. Good luck either way.
