I know this isn't really tech, but I have to give you all a heads up anyway. I have all my stuff from Fox Lake!! I will be taking everything up to my buddy's dyno shop this weekend, so we can get started.

I have to say that I think Ron from Fox Lake is a great guy to do business with. On Nov 10th I dropped off my heads at UPS. On the 15th I got a call back letting me know that he received them & would get things moving. Initially he told me it'd be about 3-4wks before I could have my heads. Well, on the 18th Ron called & told me that everything is was ready to be reshipped to me!!!! How's that for turn around! Packaging was great. I don't know if that matters to some of you, but it's very important to me. The products (Stage 2 modular heads, P-51 intake kit, & 2V valve covers) also look fantastic. If everything performs as well as they look I am going to be one extremely satisfied Mustang owner. I'll everyone posted...

Oh, for sure. I got some better hoses yesterday too. I cut & replaced those flimsy ones.

Yea, I have a set of XE270 Comp Cams too. Dennis hook me up w/a grind[8D]. Truthfully, the specs are the same as the hot street cam with the intake being 270 & .550 lift and the exhaust being 274 & .550lift. Not as big as Code's, but pretty good nonetheless. Dennis chagned the centerline so that I can rev up to 6500rpm with the heads. It's gonna sound mean!

I've been planning this for about a year now, so I took my time when it came to deciding who to go with. Speaking of snow, we got our fare share of it today here in Chicago[:@]. If my car wasn't all torn apart right now, it'd hvae been in storage 3wks ago.

Also, a little more info for ya. When you test fit the intake on the motor, check the holes on the intake that go over where your spark plugs are on the head. You might have to dremel the holes out a little, so later you can use a spark plug socket to change plugs. Otherwise you will have to use a standard stright wall socket.
