I think the 2 is the best. I've seen them on v8power.com for $349. Don't know if anyone has them cheaper.

TY. Looks like everyone is 379. Mustangtuning is 379 + tunes. Dallasmustangs.com and Gotham Motorsports are 379 and no mention of the tunes being extra.

its 375 but the tunes are like 25-50 i heard. You can send them in our download them off the site, they r the most custome tunes you can get and isnt pre programmed. You also have to give them your vin number so only you can use those tunes.. Which one do you guyz recommend, the x cal, diablo, superchip, or hyper????

I am going to buy a handheld tuner this week. What is the best one to buy? Can all of them be used for custom tunes or used in conjunction at a tune shop?

I was planning on going with the predator. But which one is better? The x-cal or predator? They both seem to be the same but I think the predator is a little cheaper. Anyone know the difference?

I would get the Diablo Sport Predator. I have the Predator and the X-Cal 2 and when I was at the speed shop 2 weeks ago I talked to the guy in charge and he said he sent the X-Cal 2 out to some people with the new software update and they were all sent back with problems. He said it was a nightmare and they're a super chips tuner specialists. I like the Predator but have my custom tunes done with the X-Cal2. Get the Predator cuz they can do custom tunes with it as well and it works better as a hand held. Advance the timing on that thing as much as it will let you otherwise it only adds like 3hp with the Diablo tune. If you advance the timing all the way it's like 10hp. I got this from my subscription at http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2...cate/index.php

Oh one more thing. The reason I bought the X-cal2 was only because the speed shop where I wanted my car tuned only works with SCT. If you are going to go with a custom tune you should figure out where you are going to get it done and what kind of software they use. SCT or Diablo Sport.
