They give more and better air flow so more power. I had a BBK 70mm and a Trick Flow plenum when I had my 2V and I could feel the difference in the car. I think they are a pretty good mod for a 2V.

I recently put on my BBK70mm TB and C&L plenum. I like the stiffer throttle, and the better throtte response. Good mod.

I have the MAC 75mm TB and Plenum setup and I thought out of all the small bolt ons that combo did the most for me. The 4.6 responds quite well to bolt ons...

i am considering a throttle body but am stuck between the 70mm and 75mm. i dont really think that im going to do much work to my car just some bolt ons. i am going to buy a 5.0 mustang as a project car but what it sounds like i should probably go for 70mm cause wouldnt i lose power if i go too big like say 75mm or am i wrong by that? any help would be great thanks...

70mm is good for NA.....but if your going with any type of F/A in the future get a 75mm.
