Default Exterior/Interior Ideas

Hey Guys,

My mom has been asking me what I want for christmas.. She is putting some money toward my full exhaust system I will be doing right after christmas.. But she wants to know some other little things she could get me. My car is based on show, so I was thinking about coming up with some quick little things she could get for me. I plan on doing a bunch of other design both interior and exterior down the road, but thats when I get some more money.

Im looking for either interior or exterior design elements (under $75) some quick things I could add.
I was thinking about some rocker stripes for the sides.. I want to put 2 circle fog lights down inside the bumper.

Here is a picture of my car (below) to help you help me, lol. Not the best picture, sorry, but you get the idea.

So let me know of any cheap ideas you guys have that would make my car better looking. Once again, quick things.. Nothing that will cost a lot. I plan on doing more major additions down the road.

My car is based on show, so anything that would spice it up and look good at the shows!

Thanks guys for your input.

start by getting rid of that awful hood. i've seen that bumper with a regular hood and it looks kind of cool.

if you're really trying to actually show your car then have her give you the money and save it until you can afford some wheels. big ones because that body kit makes your wheel wells look even bigger than the enourmous stock ones.

have your mirrors painted.

billet parts for your interior are an inexpensive way to do what you're trying to do........doing too much of that makes it really cheezy.......at least i think so........

if its a show car then i would get wheels over exhaust IMO....and if its just for show, why would u get full exhaust instead of just a cat back?

Ok a few questions then..

How much would it cost for rims + tires? How big would you guys go with the rims? And what would you get for my car?
I would never put bullitt wheels on my car, they are the worst looking around.. And no deep dish, so count those out when you give me some advice.

Also, my hood was modified. You can see in the picture how it extends into the grill. That is all the hood.. So how would I replace this kind of hood? And also how much would it cost to get a new hood + painted + installed?

Thanks guys.

Also does anyone know what kind of hood this is? (below)
I LOVE it.. Can someone give me a name or purchasing location so I can check it out?

Thanks.

I rather like my Bullitt wheels. I like the Mach 1's better, but mine are far from ugly. Do change that hood... it is ugly, and you don't even have a blower behind that offset scoop. With the factory sides, stripes look good in my opinion, I've got them on my stang, but no pictures I think... I don't remember.

I'd say look under the portion of the hood that goes over the grille and see if it looks like a factory bumper more or less... probably not so you may be stuck with this hood, but check anyway... if it is just factory then just look around in some junkyards for an undamaged hood... that'll be the cheapest.

I really like the GR40 hood made by Griggs Racing. (The picture is for a 94-98) I believe they make it for 99+ as well

As far as wheels- I'm kind of a minimalist, I'm not big on chrome. I like the 18x9 Roush rims- In a polished or maybe even a black chrome if you want to be different.

Well scratch the hood. Its a custom carbon fiber hood.. Type-S.
Plus, I really do like my hood. I am one person that can say, Try to find another mustang like it. Because you won't.

But anyway.. Rims. The only reason I didn't want to do them is because I thought they would be WAYY out of my price range for a 18 year old kid. But maybe you guys could prove me wrong.

What size and type would you go with for my car? And how much would this cost me? + Tires.

And PS- For the guy who said why a full exhaust?.. Well because Im obsessed with sound! And I want my car to look + sound nasty. So thats why.
