Default Next mod...

Allright next mod is probably going to be gears.... and gf is gettin it for me for x mas ... anyways need to know what exactly do you need gears, posi traction lok, bearing kit??? i see all these extra things and im not sure what you need? thanx

you dont need a posi lock or anything. maybe a bearing kit depending on miles on the car.

i only have 36,000 miles on it but i think the guy before me beat on it a little aka alot... when i got it ford had to replace the clutch throw out bearing and presure plate .... would it help to replace it all now or pointless .... and whats this hole deal with royal purple, do i just tell the shop to put that in??? thanx

yea, make sure they put synthetic oil in the rear end. its a plus and everything will last longer... have the shop check the bearings if you want. most cars with 50k or more miles need new bearings usually... i wouldnt really worry about it but you might as well replace em while you have it all apart.

NEED the bearing kit, regardless if your car has low miles or not.

It's stupid to not replace them while the rear is open. Cheap insurance...

I'd replace the bearings if the guy beat on it. The owner of mine before me beat on it like none other and when I went in for the swap the bearings were fried [:@] Do it now while you have it out. And good choice on the 4:10, hands down the best gear. I got one myself
