Yea but from what I understand, a s/c is going to require more work than just dropping one in. So therefore you are spending more money when you get a charger as well. Im not positive, but I think it requires some engine work, and I know for a fact you are going to need some DR's or Slicks to get the power to the ground. So its not THAT easy, it does require other work.

If you are auto, then full bolt ons will not get you above 300whp. If you want all motor I would do cams, heads, stall if you are auto, and exhaust. You are going to have trouble finding LT headers that will fit if you are auto. You should still be able to get into the 12s all motor with full bolt ons, heads, cams.

Now I have doubts if I should put so much money into since it sounds like that's a hard route to follow. You would think 70 or 80 more hp wouldn't be so hard to get with. Why did ford make the 3-valve so late.[sm=boohoo.gif]

The only headers that I know will fit an auto are SLP Long Tube Headers. Dilo has an auto as well, and I know those are what he is going with. Im not sure of other brands, but yes they are very difficult to find LT's that fit autos. SLP does though, and its a great product. The only downside is SLP LT's will run you about $850.

Heads and cams are going to cost you as much as boost unfortunately. My auto '04 had 3.91 gears, SLP catted x-pipe, flowmaster cat back, BBK ud pullies, Densecharger CAI, 70mm TB, trickflow plenum, steeda plenum spacer, AND STICKERS in the trunk
and I ran 13.8 with it at best at high 101s with a 2.2 60ft. I also had a home made diablo tune. If I had a stall and drs I would have been running about what I am now in my '05. I would definitely get a stall, some drs, your 4.10s, and some bolt ons. You should be able to run low to mid 13s with that. You will only make like 240 whp without heads, cams, or boost.

That is in the most extreme cases, I was just giving you an idea of what some people charge. You could find some for around $730 if you look hard enough. But still $730 is going to take a plunge into that bank account. [:@]
