Default 4:10 install ?

What is the average price that all of you had your gears installed for? And does most places do it? Because I asked my machanic and he said that he doesn't do it anymore because people would complain that it messes up there cars and he said he would have his friend do it for me for cheap. He said 300-400. And the mechanic is one of my friends dad and I think i remember people saying on here that they should charge around 200-300 for the installation? So should i try another place?

The performance shop I go to is only gonna charge me $200. I have to supply them with the gears and fluid and they take care of the rest. I suggest you shop around a little bit. Just make sure you find a good shop.

Shouldn't pay anymore than $300 for a complete install, including fluids.

The bearing kit was 80-90 bucks (can not remember), you can get them just about everywhere. Check mustang tunning, 50resto.com.
