Default FIPK on the way

Well, after debating what to do with my intake situation, i decided to switch over to something that isnt hot metal, federwell based CAI. just ordered the FIPK for 170 shipped on ebay. My MAC CAI was pissing me off, and hopefully this will make me happier.

The K&N is great. Those stinkin MAC and BBK chrome intakes are for show.Metal gets HOT so that means HOT air not cold but they sell them as COLD Air intakes anyway.I put the BBK on a friends car.The fit was crappy and no power.Switched to the FIPK and you could tell it had more power

yes the metal gets hot, but that air is moving so fast that it doesnt really affect the temp that much

yellowstang98 is right.

Even though a metal CAI tube may soak up some heat the air inside is moving so fast it doesn't change the temp not even a 1/10 of a degree.
