Default Dent In Headers?

I just got my BBK Full Length Ceramic Coated Headers in and it appears to have a dent in them. Im not sure if it is supposed to be there?

yeah actually, its for clearance, but on second look that dent seems too much. but there is supposed to be an indent on the drivers side

I think that dent is just to give the clearance needed for the steering column

looks like someone just pinched it. They should have made it look a little more professional...

when my new engine went in, the bbk shorties i have had the same type of dent. the way it looked was just a different shape but same diameter cause the sides of the dent in mine were bent out enough to make up for the dent. its supposed to be there i guess longtubes just made the dent seem bigger at first glance.
