Sytem Too Lean Code
it may be trying to put more gas in than your injectors can handle and i see you have better throttle body which will let in more air.. so you are getting too much air and not enough fuel.. could be anything though, dirty injectors, fuel filter. failing pump. anything
Yes...that sounds reasonable. Thanks for such a sensible guestimation on what it could be, instead of just flaming coming to flame a product. Anyways, I'm just gonna wait until I get my heads and stuff installed and see if the problems still occur then. If so I ask around more then, maybe step the fuel system a bit. As of right now though, I'm gonna try better gas. I might try some fuel system cleaner with the better gas.<edited><editID>mabguru</editID><editDate>37998.9463310185</editDate></edited>
You never mentioned the Mass Air Flow Sensor, that - paired with your other intake & exhaust mods proves the fact more that your superchip is not supplying the fuel mixture your car needs to run properly. You should REALLY get this fixed ASAP, you do not want to run too lean and be picking up chunks of 4.6 block off the ground.
As for the exhaust popping question, that is a good question, but then it isn't. A popping exhaust under decelleration is also a sign of a very free flowing, low backpressure exhaust system. <edited><editID>Dan02GT</editID><editDate>37999.0172106481</editDate></edited>

Ok guys what are some solutions to getting the fuel back to be correct. Bigger injectors and or a fuel management system? or a new chip ? I don't have a stock ford chip to put back in the car. My super chip is over 2 years old. What are some ways I can do this?
Ideally, you should have that car dyno tuned and a custom chip burnt. If that isn't an option, you need to start looking into chips for rather modified 4.6 engines. You're car isn't calling for larger injectors yet.
I had that exact problem a while back. Look, it's probably something stupid that you've over looked. I notice these other guys like to over analize the s**t out of everything. Mine was one of the tubes that came off the CAI. Look around at that stuff first. Then start with more obvious things. Idle Air sensor maybe? Those things tend to get gummed up after awhile and throw a lean code. </P>
I don't think the MAF and the other crap you've got going on is a huge problem yet. ALWAYS check with the obvious/stupid s**t first. You'll save yourself a lot of greif.</P>

Sure thing, thanks I'll try some stuff. Ha when I installed my TB the car kept killing. I forgot to hook up the idle air bypass hose. hehe I'ma try a few things. Let you know if anything works.

Thnks Dan, I told you so Madguru, there is more airthan fuel going in (<FONT color=red size=4>LEAN) <FONT color=black size=1>and you just keep fooling around with your car like that........
