4.6 fluctuating idle

I'm not so much concerned about the CE light as I am the fluctuating idle issue. 



BTW- MIL eliminators only work in about 30% of the time

4.6 fluctuating idle

I just put a new idle air control valve on mine yesterday. checked all of the vacuum hoses too. It is STILL idling like I put a big cam in it. I'm stumped. The IAC did stop the stalling. But it is still idling rough. Any other suggestions?

It has only been idling like this since I had my Longtube headers and off road x-pipe put on. Could a big header leak cause this? Or maybe a backpressure issue??

Dude. Why in the hell would you buy a scanner when you can pull the code up on the odometer/trip-meter screen. Go to my post which is named 99-04 diagnostics. This will tell you how to pull the code.

Thats not true, the codes that you pull from the odometer are not OBD II codes, you are confused buddy.....
