Default rough idle and struggling startup

ok guys i need some help. i have a 96 gt convertible with 100k miles on it. it takes me usually 2 trys to get it started. when it idles its not smooth. i dont wanna say rough cause its not very bad but its not smooth like my dads new 03 is. and when i accelerate its not smooth either. its not like its awful and sounds like a pos beater, maybe its nothing big cause i listen to it closely but definitely at idle i can hear it go up and down from my exhaust. its not just a smooth rumble.

idk whats wrong with it or if anything is but id like to get it running smoothly. also idk if its cause its cold now or what but i can see "smoke" in my mirrors when im at a stop light and someones lights are shining through it. i know it will do that until the car warms up but keeps doing that. its not a lot of smoke and nobody can see it while moving.

im thinking maybe its running rich or something. i have replace the spark plugs with ngk tr6's and the wires with 9mm ford racing wires. the only other thing not stock is exhaust.

you getting any codes? (check engine)

How is your air filter? Air intake?

It sounds like a dirty or worn out mass air flow meter. This is just after your air filter box.

Hope I helped some

You don't need a tune.

Does this 'smoke' have a color? Are you sure it's not steam?

Are you burning oil?
