Default chin spoiler

i just ordered a mach 1 chin spoiler for my 02' gt and im lookin for some advice. It supposedly comes with everything needed for installation, but ive heard rumors that the "plastic things" are not very trusthworthy and can fall out. Would it be in my best interest to just use a regular nut and bolt? or just go with the stuff provided? also it doesnt come with a set of instructions? it seems really easy..drill the holes insert the bolt and then you're done? is there anything else i should know?

I used the plastic push ins, but I drill the hole kindof small, they were a tight fit. Hold pretty good, the reason for the plastic is if you hang the spoiler on something it will pull off and not damage the bumper that is painted. The install was a piece of cake 30mins tops.

That is true. I had my wife help me center mine before I drilled the holes. Use a 1/4in drill bit and it will go on just fine.

true. I found it worked well to line it up with the wheel wells on both sides and install it from there.
