Default FYI MUSTANGS like it RICH

I have a a/f gauge and noticed it was running rich at WOT so i made it perfectly in the middle of the gauge with my predator, and it felt like it was lugging or sluggish, so i richen it back up and added alittle more to the rich side and wow, it felt alot faster and smoother.... and no the gauge is not bad or any thing because when i idle or drive normally it stays in the middle of the gauge and seems fine, that why i tried to adjust it at WOT, but thats a no no

AF guages are nothing more than a flashy light show.

True, but only to Autometer type gauges. if you have a Wide band gauge and o2 sensor then they do work. they also are like $400. and the autometer are like $60, im not sure.

i've got a 97 gt with an autometer a/f gauge. the guy I bought it from did a good install. running normally you see the 02 sensor bounce between rich and lean like it should, and when I hammer it it goes rich. But yeah it is a nice light show too, specially at night. I've had a few girls go for a ride with me and they are like "ooh what's that?"

exactly, it's supposed to go from rich to lean to rich to lean.... that may indicate that your sensor is on the way out or something like that.

mine works great
