Default New Air sensor or not

okay i bought this cai of mustangtuning.com and i read on a couple of mustang pages that you should'nt put a mass air sensor on the cai cause you'll loose horsepower...because when i put on the cai i didnt really feel any difference in performance...so should i get rid of the stock air sensor?

As far as I understand, the mass air sensor is just a sensor in line with the air flow coming into the throttle body. Most CAI's don't come with their own mass air sensor and you have take your stock sensor and put it on the new inlet pipe. You probably won't feel a difference, and you definitely don't want to remove the sensor. If you are just installing the CAI, you don't need to get a new sensor.

I just put on a Mac offroad Xpipe and it sounds freaking awesome. I was REALLY impressed with the huge sound it gave and the amount of power it freed up. You should definetly try some sort of offroad pipe.</P>
