buy a mach for 21k w/ less then 15k miles. wont cost as much as a new gt but youll get just as much power and youll stand out more then an 05. id want a gt over a 97 cobra but i think both are awesome cars.

I say go with the GT as well, if your going to be putting 50K miles onto it in the next two years that would most likley put the Cobra well over 100,000miles. And both cars are prolly going to about the same speed, Cobra maybe a little faster.

Instead of getting an 05 gt, why not look at an 04/04 cobra? You can get one with like 5k miles for 25 grand. Not to mention it's a beast of a car and blows away a new GT.

One, I don't really want nor need 393 hp, and two, I'm just not a big fan of the Edge design, now I do like the Edge Cobras, but not as much as the sn95s.

if i knew i was putting 50k on a car, it would have to be the 98 v6..let that thing take the abuse..thats just me. if you were dead set on a new ride, the GT would be it.

I agree. mach's are better... 91 cobra is a good car, but it's been beat, and you'll spend more making it stay running..... the 05 gt... well personally, the STOCK 05 is ugly... but some of the kits look tight. I've driven the 05 gt. definately more power than the 99-04 gt's and more than the 97 cobra (yes, ive driven a stock one of them too), but not close to the stock mach1.... or hell, get an 03 cobra, they're less than the cost of a new 05 gt... :-p
