Default Different sized rims

If i put 18x10.5 on the back and keep my stock bullits on the front, will that affect my 02 gt at all? And will it make it more difficult when i put sport/lowering springs on in the future?

it depends on what size tire you go with... you would have to go with around a 315/30/r18 though....... expensive tire....

I would recommend 17x10.5 over the 18s. I just don't think it would look all that good. You can get sumitomo 314/35/17 for about $110 at tirerack.com

That really serves no purpose, except, (honestly) looking funny..... You're back end isnt any higher, just a bigger rim, which you compensated for by a smaller tire.... was there honestly a purpose? Because it IS noticably smaller front.. 1" is a big difference...

I have seen a company make saleen wheels that are 18x10.5 but i think they would rub like mad!. I had the crimp my tail pipes and removed my qaud shocks for my wheels to fit. I think that would look funny with a bigger wheel in the back. Corvettes can pull it off becuase there made for that, but your mustang will be pitched foward. It wouldnt make a difference about being able to instal springs though.
