RE: 4.6 compared to 5.0
Depends what you're doing. I've had a 5.0 (95 GT) and 2 4.6's, One a 2v, and the other a 4v. Ive found the 4.6 is a better engine, the 5.0 has more available mods to it. And IMHO the 99-04 body is the best one out there :-p Sell the foxbody, and the ricer POS, and get a real car, like a Mach1 or a Cobra :-p

the 99up 4.6l and all the v4 4.6l cars are very suprising a littel costly to build but they are great engines this is my first one and it has suprised me. the 96-98 gt's are a littel lackign but nothign a head swap can't solve.

In my opinion the 5.0s are cheaper to mod and you can get more power out of them. I own a 99+ 2v. I would either say if you dont want the fox body style, go with a 94-95 5.0 or go with a 4.6 4V motor.
