Code3GT is home!!!!!
Hey Code, I was out with my buddy in his lightly modified 350Z tonight, and we lost traction and fishtailed around a turn and came literally within 6 inches, probably less, of being wrapped around a telephone pole..we ended up just slamming into the curb and he lost a chunk of his rim and his alignment off, but that's besides the point. As soon as we stopped the car and got out to check for damage, all that I could think about was you and your bad accident. And all I could think of for the rest of the night was how you were doing, and how lucky I was for not slamming into that telephone pole. It was nice to come home and read that you are home, and doing good. We are all pullin' for ya Mitch, take your time and recover fully, don't want you to loose any shifting abilities
haha feel better man!

Mitch keeps asking me what I want.. I would love to have another stang but my long legged kids would not appreciate that.... Mitch is thinking of a Caddy CTS (which I would not mind) I kinda want a bmw. Hell who knows. If he gets a corvette and we will keep his mustang we are going to have to have something comfy to cruise in. I was really digging the SRT-4 though. He had bought me all kinds of cool stuff for it for christmas. I guess what I am saying is it is still up in the air on what I want.
It is so good to hear that he's home! The ordeal with his oxygen sats had to give you a scare, bless your heart! The pic of his face says it all - he looks like he's a miserable puppy.
Tell Mitch to use some of his recuperating time to think up snappy comebacks for the titanium rod comments he's going to get. I've got 2-14" titanium rods that run on each side of my spine, along with a myriad assortment of cages, bolts & plates...all thanks to an Expedition that t-boned me a few years ago. (I think I could rebuild my car with all the parts.) The jokes have been relentless, needless to say. (Metal detectors, Bionic Woman, etc.) I truly do feel his pain - in more ways than one.
Something that has gone through my mind every single day since the wreck is that I am very blessed to be alive, much less walking. I'm here to see my kids grow up & that's all I can ask for. Mitch is blessed, too. Given that a semi hit your car, I'd say he's more like a miracle.
I've got you guys in my prayers - this has been quite the ordeal for all of you. Hang in there & try not to choke him when he gets irritable.

Glad to see your home and I hope you make a full recovery and get back on your feet soon. We all miss you and wish the best for you and your family. Hope to see you back on the forums asap.
