HOTRODMAN Just curious, how fast are you going in 1st gear at about 4000 rpm?

stay with the 4.10s I have a 03 gt with 3.73s and wish I went with the 4.10s, I know it may be too late but in 4th gear at 70mph I'm at about 3300rpms and in 5th gear 70mph is 2000.I can still do 115mph in 4th, and in 5th I have done 147 so far, sooo itsfaster than needed.hope this helps. by the way I do have a few bolt on's as listed below

I FOUND A WEBSITE THAT HAS ALL THE #S THAT ANYONE COULD WANT ... ALL SPEEDS AT ALL RPMS IN ALL GEARS WITH REAR END GEARS RANGING FROM 3.27-4.10.... CHECK IT OUT

I THINK THOSE SPEEDS ARE ONLY GOOD FOR MUSTANGS THREW THE YEAR 98 THOUGH... I JUST REALIZED THAT BUT TAKE A LOOK ANYWAYS

i really dont know for sure ,but i would guess around 20 mph.but thats only a guess,,never really checked,, my 1st. gear i would say 40mph/6800rpms.before i shift into 2nd. gear.when tires wernt smoking.

well i really dont drive the speed limit all the time.sometimes alot faster,when i know a can ,no body on rode or get behind someone going fast and stay behind them so they can get the ticket!, that was just to many rpms for my liking at higher speed,only took to track once just had to see.im sure i will like my 3.73s better looking at your rpms on your car. thats what i want.it would be ok with 4.10s if i went the speed limit all the time,

I am pretty sure I'm going to go with the 4.10's for now what the hell.... Worst case I will have to sell em and get 3.73's. I wanna feel those 4.10's though!

Another question.......What do I do about speedo with 4.10's. Keep in mind I don't have a lot of money left..lol
