interior light problem
this just started recently, for some reason, my interior lights inside my car are staying on after i turn the car off and hit the lock button for about 10+ minutes. It also stays on that long when i have the car running, which makes it impossible to see out the back at night time. I checked my headlight **** and that is in the off position.
I checked in my manual and it says this:
"The inside lights will not turn off if:
-they have been turned on with the dimmer control or
-any door is open.
The battery saver will shut off the interior lamps 30 minutes after the ignition has been turned to the OFF position, 10 minutes after if the door is left open, and 30 minutes after if the trunk is left open or the dome lamp switch is left on."
It does go off like 10 minutes after the car is off, give or take, but i double checked to make sure all doors were shut and they were....im so confused

I remember a similar problem with 97-03 F150's. Had something to do with a dirty door switch. Somehow the circuit isn't being broken. That's why it stays on for 10 min. What it SHOULD do if the door is open. On the trucks seems like you could just spray some WD40 or similar stuff into the door switch, and move it around a bit, or even take it out and clean it...
