Default 99+ engine swap

what would be involved with swaping a 99+ motor in my 96....i am interest in doin this b/c the motor is getting up in miles and a head gasket might be not to far down the line. i thought i could get something used with lower miles then start from there with some more mods.

what u think?

thanks

Default RE: 99+ engine swap

search around bro...you can find alot of info in here about that topic... and im all about the 4.6 you can really rack up some miles if you treat it right. why not just do a pi swap with some ported heads? you can find a good low mileage 4.6 on ebay for less than 2K
