I need advice on my exhaust problem
I was being stupid last weekend and decided to cut four of my cats off the car. I figured with 2 cats on there that any exhaust shop would patch it for me but, they didnt. What can I do to connect my headers to the rest of the exhaust? Need help ASAP
Thanks

RE: I need advice on my exhaust problem
I would just do what jlauth suggested and purchase an o/r h-pipe for like $170-180 andbe done with it. If you absolutely can't stand driving your car right now and can't wait to get a new h-pipe or just don't have the money, then I would just keep shopping around at different shops until you find one that will fix your problem.

RE: I need advice on my exhaust problem
yeah i plan on doin what jlauth said but the whole open headers part is the part that scares me. In the car the exhaust is EXTREMELY loud but i dunno how it is on the outside...it doesnt bother me its just i dont wanna be pulled over for running with no exhaust. Also i tried to got to 2 shops now and they both said we cant touch it because that is illegal. Anymore thoughts are verry appreciated and everyone that responded thanks

Hah, not good!
Nobody is going to fab you up some pipe and a setup to actually bolt to your manifolds, and if they would it's gonna cost a lot.
Just buy an o/r H or X pipe. You should have asked on here before you went and did anything!

RE: I need advice on my exhaust problem
you can get an o/r H pipe for MUCH less than 180 dollars though man
just go look around on most of your sites, have it overnighted for that price probably
actually, im gonna go check out ninosport.com now and see what they've got them for
be back in a moment
(for a quick fix, did you consider just running straight pipes out the back with some 5$ tips from autozone?)
