Default Weld Draglites

Anyone out there running 15" diameter Weld Draglites on a 94-98 GT? If so please post what you needed to do to get the fronts to clear the calipers etc.

for the 94-98 i believe you will need a 1/2" spacer for the 15"welds to fit up front.

Thanks 01yellowgt, so would I then also need to get longer wheel studs?

im not really sure about this one either

but i dont think that the 1/2" inch spacer is gonna be universal depending on what size wheel you go with up front

im looking at 15x10 in the back for my 99 with a 295/50/15 and there wont be any issues there (except for recalibrating the speedometer)

but up front is another story
code3gt had a 3.5 up front on his wifes S/C GT with some skinny skinny tires

im looking at a 15x6" rim with some 195/50/15, but i dont konw how short of a tire i want to go with up front, or what size spacer i would require

good lcuk if you find anything out

Yeah, with the spacer you will just have a few will just have a few treads will have contact with the stock studs. So for safety you would need longer wheel studs. check out www.summitracing.net for some.

Yes, 72mach199gt, that is exactley the look I am going to go for, either 15 x 9 or 10 on the rear with the 295-50-15 and either 6 or 7 wide on the front with maybe a 215-70-15.

I was assuming since he was talking the draglites he was going 3.5" wide.

Although the car is no longer a daily driver, commuter, I like the look of the 3.5's but I still want to be able to turn and stop

i am hoping that a 15x6 up front, with any of the following spacers (1/4, 3/8) will be find and prevent me from needing new studs

there is another guy on here that i pm'd back and forth a million times (forgot his name though, damn!) and he has a 15x8 with a 1/2 inch? maybe? spacer and it stuck the front wheels out too far so it looks slighly mexican lowrider from certain angles

but i would like to know what would be required for a 15x6 with a 195 or 205/50's in front to clear the caliper, and not need longer studs[]
