Default Reset CEL

Sorry for bein a noob, but how do you reset the check engine light??? (yes, i already searched, and i'm kinda in a hurry) I was working on the car while i was helping a friend weld the exhaust on his truck, and forgot to reconnect the MAF sensor before i turned the car back on, and vola, the cel came on. Doing to many things at one time is never a good thing!! Thanks a lot for any help!

If you reconnect the MAF sensor and then unplug the battery for about 20 min is should reset.

All I did was unhook the battery for like 2 minutes and it reset.

Mine resets itself on stuff like that. I.E. I did the same thing, and eventually it cut itself off.

make sure you reset your idle trim since you disconnected your battery.
