With the tires I have on, which are the same ones he had on, no it would not. What im am saying is you LET OUT the clutch, let it go to 3000 RPMS, hold speed for a second, and then Press it all the way to the floor. My 00 DEAD STOCK (Except for the tires i put on, bought it used, BF goodrich geforce t/as) would not burn out. It would chirp, but it woudlnt burn out. </P>

Of course if I was rolling and then agressivly let out the clutch it would, im talking with it out. </P>

I dont see how it could be a driving problem, its pretty easy to push the pedal to the floor with the clutch out </P>

ATM I cannot floor it in 1st and not loose traction. </P>

I am sorry. I am done arguing. You are wrong. A Stock Z06 doesnt run 12.1s, a stock T/A DOESNT run 12.8s, or 12.9s. You offer the forums as proof. Riiiiggghhhtt. Guarenteed not one of them posting that time shows a vid of the car proving it is stock. Show the vid, or its BS. ATM I have OVER 4 GIGS of vids on my computer from various forums (mostly the srt-4 forum) and not ONE of the stock T/As-Camaros runs anywhere near that at the track (out of maybe 15 vids of them alone) .</P>

Forums are NOT proof. Forums for the most part are 13 year old children talking out of their ***. If you believe everything that people on the forums post, then my 00 stock ran a 13.1@75 MPH </P>

BTW the start of all this was the 12.8@100 Remark. In the words of the Blues Brothers "NO..... f***ING..... WAY</P>

NO MATTER WHAT CAR, YOU CANNOT run a 12.8@100, ......unless of corse you are in one hell of a HP monster, and smash on the brakes at the end.</P><edited><editID>2000GT4.6</editID><editDate>38014.0341087963</editDate></edited>

Like I said, I'm not going to do the research for you, you went to LS1 specific forums and they ever said it has been done. What more do you want?</P>

Go to google and spend a couple hours researching stock LS1 time slips, check out car domain. Also, search for Magazine reviews on LS1 performances they've had at the track.</P>

Take a trip to GMhightechperformance.com and read around, they have a huge article about their LS1 getting into 12's, bone stock!!! <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"></P>

Now are you talking "Showroom Stock?" Or do you mean with drag radials, a CAI, maybe exhaust?? I could see it getting close with slicks, but thats still a strech. Who said 12.8 @ 100 MPH? Thats just not possible. That would be more like 108- 110 MPH something along those lines...Depending on what gear you had. </P>

It just didn't happen man. I can't buy it.</P>

what are the 99+ GTs suppost to pull off... i read somewhere that they do 5.4 0-60 and 13.9 1/4 mile... does anyone know otherwise?</P>

It all depends on the driver. Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords hit 13.7 in one...I've seen one power shifted to 13.5 on the track. If you don't belive me i will post the link. Mustangs even in stock form are fast.</P>
