Alright guys, I have 2500 in the bank, and I am getting probably another 1000 from my income tax return. What would you guys buy with around 3 grand? My plans are a used vortech for my 03 GT. I already have a catted h-pipe, flowmaster cat-backs, udp, a cai, and a maf. What do you guys suggest?? Thanks, Kyle

To make the HP you want with a supercharger, you will need LT's and a new mid-pipe.

Or you can just spend it all on a supercharger. I was going to add a short shifter in there but didnt know if you have Auto or 5spd... so... you can either spend it all on 1 big power adder or lots of other things. really just your choice.

I would say supercharger, but if you plan on running a high amt of horsepower you may wanna look into beefin up that rear axle, before you need another one[&:].. I agree with a lot of what rbstang advises... definatly get the gearing and the tuner... but if you plan to supercharge or juice it, i'd stay away from 4.10.. either 3.73 or 3.90. short shifter is another good one, if you have the 5spd... but if you plan on putting a lot of horsepower to the ground you DEFINATLY need to beef up your rear axle. Good luck, i'll have the same decision to make in the next 3 months... haha - should be fun...

get the super. you can find one for under 3 grand used and you should have enough left for some tires maybe. depending on if you get raped by the tune.

those UD pulleys are going to have to come off if/when you get that vortech.
