"tired" of tires spinning
i am new to the forum, so excuse me if i don't know much. i am getting a s/c by the end of the month and am worried about losing traction due to the increase in hp. i have new tires so that shouldn't be an issue. what should i do to avoid spinning instead of cruising. would a new diff help me out? what about control arms? new suspension? any advice would help me out thanks.

control arms will help with your wheel hop when you're slamming through the gears. the best way to help with traction is getting some drag radials. with an SC, there's no street tire that you're not going to burn up. i can drop to 3rd going 60 and spin my tires with my vortech.

Tires. Tires. Tires.
A new diff would HELP you spin the tires. The point of your drivetrain is to get the most available power to the ground. Drag shocks, control arms, eibach drag launch springs, 275+ width STICKY tires. NEW tires don't mean shaz. THey have to be WIDE and of a SOFT compound.

Mickey Thompson is the best of best but dont get them if you drive on the street, your not going to get many miles out of them.
Get the nitto 555r if you drive on the street. You can get up to 10-12 thousand miles on the nitto's
