what should i do??
After doing all of the basic bolt ons for my 97 gt...i want to move on to the next step. I am not sure which way to go so let me know which one of these you guys prefer and why?? Money is somewhat of a concern, but i realize that both of these options are both very costly and produce really good hp.
1) PI heads/intake (ported and polished), VT stage 1 cam
- If not PI, what are the best heads/intake/cam package to get??
2) Supercharger
- The only thing with getting a supercharger is because i already did a lot of mods to the stang, would i have to change anything that i already modded? (such as gears and throttle body and intake)??
I didnt want to have to change any mods i already did to the stang, so let me know which route would be the best to go. Also, whichever route you choose could you please give which companies you suggest?? thanks guys

RE: what should i do??
If you want maximum power and you don't mind saving more money, I would go with the PI swap with blower cams. Then later down the road when y ou have the money again, go with a supercharger.

well its basically one or the other...after i do either one of these setups im going to work on the exterior and such...so you think that the PI heads are good to get?? I was thinking about ordering them from Parkway Performance...any experience and/or thoughts on this company?? That setup with VT stage 1's??

If you plan on doing one final bunch of mods and then making your car pretty and calling it a day... Then I would get some long tube headers and slap on an intercooled supercharger of your choice. You will get more HP out of this setup than a Head/Cam N/A setup.

RE: what should i do??
Just installed a B&M tranny cooler yesterday
But other than the pullies would i need to change any other mods I already did (gears, t/b, intake) i have 4.10s and i usually see people with 3.73's. I also have a 70mm t/b and usually see people with a 75 mm t/b.

You don't have to, but you can upgrade to the 75mm T/B.
You will be fine with the 4.10's since you will be making less HP than what you see blown 99+ GT's making with the same mods.
A couple simple suspension mods, LCA's, maybe some drag springs with a decent street tire and you will be perfectly fine with the 4.10's.

okay dan, since you seem to be pretty knowledgable with your car stuff...what if i was to go head/intake/cam way?? Do you think i would get some good numbers getting the parkway performance head/intake package, getting both the head/intake ported and polished, and getting some vt stage 1 cams?? How do you think that setup would be if i decided not to go the s/c route??
