Default 1998 Special Edition?

My friend wants to race me with his stock 1998 mustang gt. He doesnt even have a chance because My 04 has 40 more hp stock.

He is confident he can beat me and I have no clue why. I told him the specs of our cars and that mine is much faster stock for stock, and that im not even stock.

He said he has the special edition mustang for that year and it has around 302 torque and around 305 HP.

Is there such a thing for this year? Ive never heard of this.

He's quoting Cobra specs. 305hp and 300Torque. No such thing as a special edition 98. Then again maybe he's got a little surprise like NOS. Hell gas in a bag can add 100hp. Not the smartest thing but it does work to a point.

Bilstein Shocks and Struts, Kenny Brown Sport Springs, Kenny Brown Extreme Matrix System
Kenny Brown Rear Shock Tower Brace, Kenny Brown Lower Chassis Brace, Kenny Brown Caster Plus Kit, Steeda Lower Control Arms, Lakewood Upper Control Arms, Ford Racing Aluminum Drive Shaft with Safety Loop, T/A Rear End Girdle, B&M Pro Ripper Shifter, Autometer Guages, Raptor Shift Light
Hood Struts, Rear quarter Sail Panels, Side Scoops, Custom Striping
