Default need some help

Alright heres whats up. i own a 2000 mustang gt. couple bolt ons here and there. a couple months ago i started to get some idling problems. after doing around 70mph for a while then coming to a stop my car would idle a little weird. it would drop down below 500rpms jump up to a 1000 and then find its way back to around the 800 range. i didnt really think much of it, but since ive been off from college ive had time to check it out. i thought it was the idle air controller. my cars got 95,xxx miles on it and supposedly that controller can go bad. went to ford got a new one for $112 [:@] put that in nothing really changed. next i went to the egr valve. tried to clean that out the best i could. still no change. i was driving home after i did all of this, put the car in nuetral, let it roll down to 5 mph or so then it just stalled out. im thinking now it has nothing to do with the intake/throttle body/plenum area of my car but some fuel problem. any suggestions in what to try next???

If you haven't done so already, try changing your spark plugs, and if you have wires, change them as well. Maybe also a fuel system cleaner and check your air filter. Try the simple stuff first.
