RE: new pads
you mean cobra calipers or pads? I think you should go with whatever break pad auto zone has that is the most expensive. you get what you pay for. a while back i bought some drilled and slotted roters on ebay and put those on my self. front went on fine but the back i had problems getting the pads to fit. turns out there was a recall on that type of pad and it was too thick. Anyways I don't remember the name of the pad but it was a cheeper pad. The rotors were only 100 bucks plus shipping. If you want to do just pads and feel a differance you should just buy the premium pads. Also if you run synthetic brake fluid and get braided lines put on you will feel a major differance in the pedal.

RE: new pads
unless you do a lot of hard racing i would go back to the thermo quiets we used them alot when i worked in a garage and i really like them they run about 40 bucks for a set and like i said you only have to buy one set for the car after that they are free.
