go with a cowl hood, i love mine. its actually a high cowl so check out your local laws, i wont pass inspection for it but i got my old one. the one i got is VIS, pricey but worth it

yea i went to a gas station close by and they told me my cowl is too high, which i never heard b4 but it doesnt matter since i got my stock hood still. im more worried about the h pipe im getting put on today thats not catted. i doubt if i go to a private station ill fail for the hood. but hey its NJ, u fail for having one of ur license plate lights out.

im not into the cowl hood. im either thinking of saleen hood (which im in favor of most likely), 03-04 cobra hood, stock hood with out scoop(99-04 v6), or stock hood with scoop(01-04 gt)

code welcome sack. sorry about your accident. what cf hood are you talking about? saleens? and i think im getting the saleen spoiler because it fits the rear bumper better because it stick out a little more than the stock bumber, but im going to look into pushing my spoiler back. thanks nice idea. please get back with the hood you were talking about. thanks

Ebay usually have them, but I just looked and there weren't any listed. The hood is called the heat extractor and I think with your Saleen style, the hood would just look so good, but hey what do I know, I have no taste...LOL

Thanks, for the welcome back, it's good to be back. I am just getting impatient, because of being confined to the couch. Oh well, the payoff in the end will be somewhat worth what I went through.

the head extractor hood is the 03-04 cobra hood. its got the 2 head extractor ducts in it... i think it looks sexy, i really want one of those hoods for my stang.
