Damn! Horrible price!!

You could have gotten them as low as $140-180 depending on where you shopped, I guess it doesn't really matter when they are getting installed for free. Did you buy a bearing kit? It's a MUST, it makes no sense to not do the bearings while you are in there, it's $60 dollar insurance that'll prolong the life of your rear (hahaha sounds funny)

You could have got them for around 160.00! why pay so much more. Lots of places sell them! Fords high on everything.

Well with the way things happened, it was a good price. I could have gotten them for 160 on the internet but then i would have to pay shipping and wait for delivery, i was looking to spend around 400 with gears and install, but my boss said he was going to do it for free, and i wanted them now so i payed the extra and got them right away..lol and i dont have to pay the install fee, but no i didnt get the "insurance kit" should i have? I've already got new wheel bearings, pinion bearings and someother bearing getting installed with the gears.

Your going to have to get a new pinion bearing, because one of the bearings on the pinion is pressed on and will be damaged in the process in taking it off. Buy the kit, because ford wanted $75 for just the pinion bearing, not even including the race. and you can buy a whole kit for that price

If you already bought the bearings, have fun when they get installed! You are going to LOVE the 4.10's.

Make sure you come back and post your thoughts and help all the wussies afraid of 4.10's make the right choice!
