Default Rear End

I have a 1996 GT 7.5" rear, wo/abs, rotors.

My question is do i need spring compressors to compress my coil springs?

Any help is most appreciated.

Thanks,
~James~

Default RE: Rear End

Your 96 GT has an 8.8 rearend not a 7.5".... To "compress" the springs you will need a "spring compressor", but to simply change the rear springs you don't need one. For the front however, you will.

go to autozone, they will "rent" them to you. The rears are easy, the fronts will need to be compressed like no other... just from my experience, if that spring compressor were to give out on you, watch out, it would hurt
