d46 hads require the d46 intake manifold. but yeah open that sean hyland book. they explain all about the D46 or SVO head

around here in nh ive heard anywhere from 500-800$ if you bring in the heads, but if they gotta take them off it might be closer to 1000-1200$

FRPP makes a performance head that will fit a 96-98 that's better than a PI head. It wont fit on a 99-04 though. That particular head is the ****.

yeaqh thats what we were talking about. but you have to use the D46 manifold or the heads dont flow as well. i was gonna use the heads but the damn intake manifold is like $2200. but yeah the D46 heads are the ****

I read about this too. It doesn't match the ports right on a PI motor but it apparently flows very well. The intake for it is supposedly similar to the bullitt intake but matches these non-pi heads if I'm not mistaken.

so what is it called D46 heads and intake manifold? are they for pi or npi motors or are they made for a swap to npi cars? sounds interesting but that price WOOAAHH[:'(]

they use the NPI port shape only bigger and the runners are better engineered

sweet! now if they werent 900 each. what intake goes with it? i hope not the stock npi one. could these work with an aftermarket pi intake man.?
