Default hello

hello, hows everyone doin? I recently bought a 99 gt conv (manual) , had to get rid of my rice burner from college (01 tiburon). I've already put on a K&N cai, and I have a buddy who is going to put in a set of 4.10 ford racing gears in a couple of months for me. within the next year I'm looking at putting in a short shifter, a high flow exhaust w/ x or h pipe, equal length headers, intake spacer, under drive pullies, and tuning it up with a diablo chip. Later upgrades include suspension, engine rebuild w/ forged internals, clutch, tranny, and blowzilla sc from kenne bell, but I gotta pay the car off and get a new daily driver before I go all out. Anyways I was wondering with the mods I have listed if 290 rwhp is a reasonable expectation? thanks for any input, btw I'm not changing the tb, because it will have to be replaced with a larger one again once the sc is installed.

With just the bolt on's & tune your looking around 275rwph or so but with the forged internals and the SC your talking numbers way higher than that...

yeah 275 is probably more realistic. My ultimate goal is about 700rwhp, on kenne bell's web site they had a 99 gt up to 684rwhp on 20 psi, I figure 20 psi and a 75 shot of no2 will get me there. I have a friend who works at ford as a mechanic and claims the stock block will hold up to 1000hp, the guts of the engine though will crap out around 450 though. So I guess I'll find out some day. thanks for the reply.

Thanks, I'll have to get some pics up soon. Though the car is going to be totally redone some day, as I'm not a huge fan of forest green.
