ENGINE PROBLEMS

Hey, i have a 1999 GT and the check engine keeps coming on. the code is PO306, a misfire on cylinder 6. ive had this problem before and i replaced the spark plugs and it was fine for about a week. now its hesitating and acting up the same way again and giving the same code. what else can i replace. the coils maybe, or ive also heard that the fuel rail may be clogged?

Try changing the injector in the bad cylinder with another and see if the problem follows the injector.If so replace or clean the injector.

Injectors are rarely a problem. You have a bad coil pack. What are you considering to be cylinder # 6...assuming you are sitting in the driver's seat...

Sounds like a bad coil. If the fuel rail was clogged, im sure all 4 cylinders on that side would be affected as well. Switch the coil and go from there.
