Dammit I just broke my mirror. It's still attached just the plastic housing snapped of the bottom. I'm buying a new one for like 40 on ebay. Please tell me this is a DIY job and how to do it.

yeah do it youself.if u have mach sound system just gently pry speaker cover off and remove one bolt to speaker assembly.unplug wireharness and remove broken bolts, simply replace new mirror and put speaker back on. go easy on taking speaker cover off though

mmmm. not sure then. that plate might pop off somehow without having to remove whole door panel. If not that what u have to do. Its not a hard job though. I had to do the same when car wash broke my mirror. Except mine was hanging. I do have speakers so thats what i had to do.but i didnt have to take door panel off. So see if you can pop that plastic cover off. Either way do it yourself your see its easy

well i didnt wanna tell the story but i guess i will lol. alright i had been sleeping over a friends house friday night and i came home and left all my crap (toiletries pillow etc.) in my trunk. so since i had not tooth brush i just swished some crest mouth wash (good stuff btw) but then my mom bitched so i went out and had to blow dry my whole back of the car to get the cover off because i put it on the night before (on saturday) and we had a hella ice storm so it froze to my car. I eventually was able to get the trunk open but i realized my phone wasnt there so i realized my cover wasnt so frozen in the front. i tried take it off the side and snap goes my drivers side mirror! basically it's held on my a peice of plastic at the top corner of the housing. i feel dumb lol

lol well i bought my stang off my aunt. The day i finished the paper work and walked out of the bank i called her and said i was on the way to pick it up.She said ok but.... I thought she wrecked it. But she took it through a automated car wash to clean it for me and ended up breaking the mirror off!Oh well cant complain nothing else was damaged and she bought me a new mirror. Thats how i did mine. Like your story better though
