Will 315's drag radials fit?

RE: Will 315's drag radials fit?
hmmm just had to check out this thread after the little "incident" in off topic and i have to say even though stangpower can have quite an attitude (not trying to start any s**t by the way) he is absolutely correct, NITTOs are a bit smaller and should be a nice fit. and don't be discouraged by some of the bad tech that can sometimes be spread around, there's always the blocking feature that can come in quite handy at filtering out any members you don't wanna have advice from. there are some very knowledgeable people on this site that try as hard as they can to answer everyone's questions.

They will fit, but they will be pulling at the sidewall a bit. You can see it in the Fox photo below.
To allow the tire to work to it's full potential, the sidewall should be in it's neutral state, not being pulled in either direction. The Nittos fit great on my 10.5" wide wheels, you can see in the photo below that the wheel is about even with the tread pattern without pulling in either direction, which allows the sidewall to flex freely.
The 275's will fit better but the 315's will fit.
Will the added footprint of the 315's hook better than the flexability of the proper sized 275?
I can't answer that one [&o]
I can say if you have a standard, they tend shock the tires more than an auto, and a more flexable sidewall will help absorb some of that shock
If it's just for the look throw on the 315's

Do nitto's hook up good at the track?? Are they worth the money?? I'm asking because this spring I'm getting radials and want good mileage on them, but want them to hook at the track. I'm not pushing rediculous power numbers, maybe 300rwhp by summer. Are nittos a good radial in short?

get 2 extra 03 cobra rims slap some bfgs on them. when you go to the track switch your rims those things will last as long a long time if you dont heat them up too much at the track.

Would BFG's last me about 7 months, I'm not a lead foot, just at the track for the most part. Maybe twice a month. What do you think dan? Would BFG's be ok??

no track time, out of my Nittos and the BFG's are supposed to wear faster, but hook better
