Default Choices!!!!!

Im selling my rims and tires to a friend of mine and Im looking for some new rims and tires. Ive some-what narrowed it down to two different styles. What are yalls opinion on the two? I wanting to put a 18x10 on the rear.

P.S. Whats the diff. between polished and chrome?

Then get the saleens (the bottom ones). Chrome is really shiny, polished is more dull.

Nah, for the money you'll be losing, you'll want a change. I think the top rims are an excellent choice. Why not find some polished welds? They look nice and go fast!

polished: It's extremely shiny and if it gets scraped up, it's completely fixable albeit somewhat time consuming depending on how bad the scratch is. Over time they'll start to resemble brushed aluminum if you don't keep them polished and protected. They are much more prone to small swirls and scrapes which means you'll be applying clear coats much more frequently than chrome.

chrome: It's very very shiny, it's always shiny, it's got layers underneath that make it shine more brilliantly than most polished metals. On the otherhand, it can chip and pit... once the chrome is damaged, you can't fix it. It's usually difficult to damage the chrome but pitting happens over time (look at the chrome bumpers of old cars). Once it's damaged, it's usually cheaper to replace than to rechrome it. Sometimes people get problems when they use compressed air guns to tighten the lug nuts. DON'T get curb-rash on a chrome wheel.

I'd say that chrome or black FR500s would look incredible. Saleens look good if you have the saleen kit.
