Hit Curb Is the Strut Damaged?
Hey guys.. So my buddy got his cobra a little to sideways last night and popped a curb. I think its pretty funny. Anyways.. we were driving it this morning and started hearing a clunking sound. To me it sounded like the strut slamming up into the tower. Well we pull over and sure enough the strut top is sticking up about 4" higher than the other side. Im not to familiar myself with mustangs and or their suspensions. What do you guys think happend to this monster? IS it a cheap easy fix?

What do you mean the top is sticking up 4 inches? The rod portion? If so, then it will hit the underside of the hood. I had a similar problem (different cause) and it was caused by the strut sleeve failing. Not sure if its the same with you, but its something to look into.
