Saturday morning i started the mustang began to drive and it started idling real weird. i drove it to my dads house and it would not idle at all. it would go up to like 4000 rpms hang there then all of the sudden drop off. we could hear air sucking from somewhere but didnt see anything. the ford dealer said it was probably the IAC valve anyone else have this problem

well the price I gave you is list price...their just marking up the price and charging you customer pay.....do this....call the dealer on the phone, give them the part # and ask them what list price is...they will tell you $123.86...get that persons name...then go in to buy it and if they try to charge you more tell them you called and "so and so" told you it was $123.86

Actually you can take those apart and shoot some electric motor cleaner in there. Sometimes they just get gummed up. For those of you tight asses, start there...
