Default The right filter for me?

Pretty stupid question I suppose, but I need a little help selecting the right filter for my CAI.

I was looking into a K&N filter for my 2000 GT, it's currently got CAI, the fender kit. I went to a local retailer that has plenty of K&N filters, looked up the right kinda for my model and year, bingo! They have one in stock, so I pull it out of the box and look at it, it's freakin' HUGE! It doesn't even look like it'd fit in my fender. So I don't know what to do, I want a K&N filter on my CAI, but I don't know which size I need. My intake didn't come with any paper work, so I don't know the dimensions I need. Infact, the best I could do is post a picture of my kit from the retailer, it has all the parts layed out, and then let someone try to guess :\

Ya dude the one you looked up for your car is meant to lock into the stock plastic thingy (lol). You're just gunna need to look around for a K&N that is the same style as the one that came with your CAI kit, shouldn't be too hard to find. But basically it was huge because its made to fit into the huge stock intake system, not be tightened around a CAI tube. Hope this helps.
