1.5" is already pushing the limits of your stock suspension geometry. it really depends if you are able to get your car aligned or not. some people are ok at 1.5" drops, and others need c/c at 1.5" drops.

It all depends.....after you drop your car....you have to check out the camber. If its pretty negative, a shop isn't going to be able to align it. Usually 1-1.5 is okay....you will just have to check it out.

You can get away with 1.5" on the SN95's. But on the 99-04's 1.25" would be the limit without C/C Plates I think...

I thought the new edge and sn95 suspension setups were the same.

They seem the same, but the wheel gap for the SN95 resembles an off-road vehicle more than the new edge Mustangs...

I asked Maximum Motorsports the same question a few months ago.

I inquired about their H&R springs that are 1.5" drop, and they said it would be perfect without the need for any bumpsteer or caster/camber plates. Bumpsteer was a definite no, but caster/camber was at the very limit. It may or may not need it depending on individual applications, but in their experience...it was most times no.

If you don't want the hassle or cost of CC plates or bumpsteer, you can always go with offset rack bushings with the 1.5 drop. It will still need an alignment, but it will work. I recommend the indexed aluminum offsets, as they resist rotation within the rack.

I have them and have had no problems.

BTW, they cost like $40 and you can put them in in about 15 minutes if you have any mechanical inclination.
