what not to put on ur mustang
i drive a 2001 mustang bullitt and i love it. however, the guy i bought it from had put 20"x8" rims on the front, and 20"x10" rims on the back. i thought they looked sick as hell so i left them after seroius contemplation about selling them and putting something a little more reasonable and lighter on, maybe an 18". i was driving thursday down a somewhat bumpy road, and all of a sudden, BOOM, sterio went out, steering wheel was shaking, brakes were bouncing, so i pulled into a parking lot and got out to see how bad i fu*ked my car up. i completely bent my right front rim, and not only now do i have to replace the rim, but the $355 tire that goes to the rim. $745 later, they told me my rim and tire would be in the end of the week. $745!!?!?!?! i could have put exhaust AND headers on my car for that! on top of that, while i was there i asked them what i was looking at when it came time to replace the back tires, $465 A PIECE. unless you've got more money than God, or just more money than sense, i would recomend staying away from the rediculously large rims, because they look cool while theyre still round, but it doesnt take much of a bump at all to blow $750 bucks. and on top of that, if speed is what you're after, all it is doing is adding weight, making the time for it to make one rotation longer, and losing traction for you. i just dont want anybody else to go thru the same shi* im going thru now.

that really suks, you should just sell the rims and buy some rims with tires that are more reasonably sized 465$ for as tire is rediculous
edit: do you have any pics of your car?

pipe that comes into you're convertor box. its the same concept as changing any pipe in your car, the more space there is inside the pipe, the better exit flow you're going to get out you're exhaust.
