Yeah, another good point. Do the small mods as money allows, like intake/plenum. all the small things that will help when it is time to actually throw some FI onto your car.

Or you could buy an 03/04 Cobra conversion for $6 or so grand and then buy a KB 2.2 super for it and have DiabloSport tune it for you, you will have more then what you are asking for and then you could even sell the stock Eaton M112 for half a grand or so depending where you sell it, like ebay. You would even have some money left over for suspension upgrades if you shop wisely. A beautifull 04 Cobra conversion with every mechanical feature of the car (Except IRS and Driveshaft) but guages and wiring had just sold for under $4000 on ebay. The car had 14,000 miles on it I think.

I paid about $2700 for my 03' Mach1 Coversion (Got $500 back, was $3200ish) which right there is 305hp and can be either supercharged or Twin Turbo charged for under $6500 to produce the power you want. You just gotta shop around and keep your eyes open. Now the reason why I got $500 back from the engine was they sent me an auto engine that had a manual kit shipped with it so I used that money for a 5.0L forged ballanced stroker kit from Livernoise for $1870. Then with assembly and oil system and water bypass I am in it about $5000 bux but I know I can get alot of power from it, enough to make you happy with your goals. It just depends on how you build it and what you want to do with it. I have two sets of pistons, one high CR set and a low CR set, I have the high installed because I cant afford the Forced induction yet and I havnt really chosen which kind to go with, turbo or super, still thinking about it.

Its always cheaper to do something yourself then to buy it already done or to pay someone for it. For 11G's you can have way more then what you want and be streetable.

I know just with my 5.0L Cammer with 11:1 CR, Diablo custom tune and common bolt ons I will be close to your goal. The FR 5.0 Cammer makes well over 400hp with a non restrictive intake and exhaust and stock Ford Tune. Thats using FR Stage II valvetrain which is stock on the Mach1, I plan to upgrade mine as well as port and polish. But talk is talk and anyone can talk and I just need to get my engine in the car and dyno that sukka.

You are only 16 yrs old, lets not get to carried away because your talking about forged internals, superchargers, and what not, and with 11k dollars i dont think your going to get 500rwhp out of a gt considering at your ages probably half of that 11k is going to the mechanic for labor
