is it better to have a catback system if you have an xpipe with hiflo cats setup?

It will help with opening up the exhaust some more. Catback systems are 2 1/2 inch piping where the stock is 2 1/4

You'll only see gains of 3-5 hp w/ a cat-back. I just stuck with mufflers, $100 compared to $350-$400 wins my vote...

well i have.. no mufflers so should i get mufflers or a catback.. which sounds better? and WHAT WILL A CATBACK make my xpipes sound like now? they are pretty loud

if you wish to save money (i do) go with mufflers. cat back is nice, but 100 compared to 400? no question there. the h/p gain is very little, won't even notice the difference betweem mufflers or a cat back. i love my flowmasters w/out cats, real nice deep sound.
